are you aware you are using Facebook wrong? To run a business or a community page it must be separate from your personal "friend" page! You are not allowed to have 2 "friend" pages (they will deactivate one) There are many business tools and benefits of using a facebook "like" page over a "friend" page. Once you hit 5000 "friends" your facebook page will be deactivated.

Yes Mike, I am still using it, although I am too busy now to send that same email to people, I usually wait for them to send me a note before I reply. But the principle still works fine. Thanks for the positive feedback.nnGreg

Hi Lynn, thanks for the feedback. Yeah it's all about creating a profile online. Guest authoring...? I have done some of this in the past and I enjoyed it. I would say my response would depend on the circumstances involved. If you can contact me with more details either from this blog contact page or on Facebook with more info I can get back to you. Regards, Greg Martin

Thanks Greg for the very informative video. I will certainly be sharing it with my clients. And I agree, links to sales pages or selling anything is a big turn off. Social means 'to get to know' and build the relationship. I really see that trend happening more and more. Appreciate your information and really enjoy your blog! Would you ever consider guest authoring?

Hey Sally, Yes there is a way to do what you asked but I don't use it, I prefer to use Tweetdeck to handle that. There is a whole different level of strategy to the collaboration than just having your twitter & Facebook accounts connected.
