Danielle, I know this response comes 10 months later, but just read this post. I think I can help, unless you have found the answer already that is. The concept of the “Funded Proposal” or self liquidating offer was developed by mike dillard to solve the problem of marketers going broke because of advertising costs before they start seeing any results which eventually leads them to quit. How do you tie this with your The Trump Network? You dont really because in a way it has nothing to do with The Trump Network per se. But if you had to tie it together this is how the funded proposal was meant to work – Offer a low cost product that almost anybody wouldnt mind investing in so long as it delivers value (Magnetic Sponsoring $40, teaches your how to become an alpha leader) make enough of these sales through Mike sites and you'll start generating some cash flow. Here's where it ties together, you use that money to advertise your primary business which is where your MAIN source of income and commissions come from. So no longer do you have to keep putting your own money out of pocket but you're using the money from your “small” product sales to fund your marketing for your primary opportunity. And that's why it's called a self funded proposal.

Hi Ben, in regard to your questions about Twitter, yes there is MORE to Twitter than just lead generation.

It's brilliant for other things than money or leads… I heave learned SO MUCH about things like direct response ad copy (writing tweets that get a response), the types of posts on my blog that people respond most to, lot's of retweets by people retweeting my stuff back to their Twitter following, comments on the blog & Tweetmeme clicks.

That's without mentioning any social bookmarking I get from visitors. Twitter is a gold mine that can send a HECK of a lot of traffic to your blog or any other site.

Hi Greg,

I am just learning to use Twitter and Blogs as a lead generation tool, but have a bit of a different goal. My personal blog is all about my journey to achieve several goals including some personal financial ones but also a charity fundraising goal. Both of these require a bit of a following of readers...which I hope to gain through Twitter. Do you have any tips on building Twitter followers, or how your techniques here could be used for blog readership rather than lead creation?

Great post. Thanks for the info. I have been an affiliate of Mike Dillard for some time now, but couldn’t quite wrap my brain around how that system would fit into my own system of internet marketing, branding myself and marketing The Trump Network opportunity, and how I would compete with all the other people marketing Mike Dillard’s system. I’m starting to understand that maybe it doesn’t have to all fit together so perfectly. Once I have the leads, I can market to them however I want.
