And you're so right. I think the definition of confession is really: take a position and stand up to it, firmly and consistently. The old meaning is about guilt. But I think it is about taking responsibility. Don't let others discourage you in any way, because they are doubtful themselves and are not willing to risk anything. There is no fear, but in your head. Don't let others put that fear in your head.
